  1. Thank you for participating! I really appreciate it.

  2. My pleasure Priscilla, it’s a fantastic idea and provides much link love and also brings many more great resources to the readers, so thank you for setting it up!

  3. I seriously dislike lists like that.

    TOO MUCH CHOICE PARALYZES YOU.

If simplifying is one of the wise things to do then why overwhelm yourself with often repetitive information? This just keeps you from acting. Focus on a few and then apply what you read!

  4. Great list! I love lists like this - the more choices, the better. Thanks for sharing!

  5. Hello Urban Monk:

Thanks for the additions and for the link. I searched through the list and focussed on 5 Excellent EQ Boosting Articles that I found in blogs presented in the list.

The link for my article is here:

  6. Hi Albert,
Thanks for including Jenny and I on your list! To help build this blogging community Jenny and I have decided to try to help build the self development community as well with a little contest. I would like to invite you, and anyone else interested, to find out more details at Win a $25 Gift Certificate.

  7. Nice seeing myself listed with all these great blogs!

  8. Hi There! I just wanted to drop in and say thanks for the mention!… This list is really large now, shoot… it is the whole front page now. When I was first added there was about 100 and I thought that was a crazy amount ;)

    Thanks again!

  9. @ Jerome: I agree that it will simply paralyze someone who’s stuck in the “reading-and-not-doing” trap. Still, for others, the more content the better - sometimes having a few different perspectives might be helpful if you are struggling with something. It’s also great for Google and Technorati rankings, and it’s good to spread the link juice a little, hehe.

@ Meremystic: You’re welcome! I’ve been boosted so much (traffic and technorati wise) by this list that I’d be a bit selfish not to join in.

@ Galba: Great site there, if you didn’t leave a comment I would never have found it - thanks.

@ Erin: Fantastic idea there, and very generous - best of luck with it, I know it’ll do well.

    @ Ted: You’re very welcome!

@ Lucid: Yes it’s a massive list. :D Priscilla kindly helped me with the raw code for it - there are so many links and I dreaded going into each one and putting the links in manually haha!

  10. @Albert: I can absolutely understand it from a webmaster point of view, don’t worry :)

But for the actual person who is interested in self-development this adds only to the difficulty of making the step from reading to acting. Or at least that’s my experience ;)

I believe that less choice makes you more happy. Not that I didn’t say NO choice! A very interesting book on this subject is ‘The Paradox of Choice’ (click on my name).

    Have a nice day everyone!

  11. thanks so much for adding me to that list! i hope i’ll prove worthy to your readers …

  12. Hi Albert,

This is a great list! Thanks for providing this.

    Best,
    Desika

  13. @ Jerome: No love lost ;) I believe I read that book a long time ago, but I can’t remember if it’s the one I was thinking about. I had martial arts in mind though - it’s like the more choices / techniques we have in a fight situation, the longer our mind takes to choose one and the likelier we are to end up with a broken nose haha. So I know exactly what you’re talking about.

    @ Isabella: My pleasure :)

    @ Desika: My pleasure too!

  14. An incredible list. I am proud to be among these great thinkers.

  15. It is a great list, isn’t it! Just spent some time on your blog, and it’s a good one too.

  16. Hey AAAlbert,
