  1. Mental mastery… hmm… how about if you can make yourself take action on 10 things everyday and most of those are in the 20% of the 80-20 factor, you can accomplish more than you can by studying, learning new vocabulary, reading blogs, or just about anything you can do. To me, ACTION is the most important attribute that will bring success. Consistent, long-term, sustained, focused action will bring the most and best changes to your life’s outcome - whatever it is that you choose to apply it towards. Act, act, act…

  2. Heya Vern! Is that something you wanted me to expand on for the mental mastery series, cos it seems like you’ve got a pretty good grip on it already. :D . How’s your blog coming along, it’s been a while since we chatted.

  3. Albert,

Congratulations on your Blog Apocalypse fund raising — and Thank you for finding a creative way to do a great thing and leading everyone toward a worthy goal.

I’m very proud of your efforts — and proud to have had the chance to participate.

The Mental Mastery Series looks like a good one to keep on my radar — I look forward to seeing some breakdown on thought processes — fascinating!

  4. I had participated in that meme and had informed you I think, in case I didn’t, sorry mate, I’m just kinda forgetful. One thing I do remember is that it was an enjoyable meme. Maybe enjoyable is not the right word, I have a lot of respect for people like you who and help the needy. I do my bit too whenever I can.

Aww man, Mental Mastery, that sounds tough, surely not the typical self help blog stuff. Ill wait for the stuff anyway, I get updates through RSS.

    Take care and cheers mate.

  5. Mental mastery sounds like a wonderful topic for a series - and what is typical ’self-help’ anyway? Who cares?

If it interests you, and it’s something you’re successfully applying in your life, then other people will be interested and will want to know how to apply it in their life.

Thoughts are the basis of all we see around us - most people are so identified with their thoughts, they don’t even realise that the mind is a TOOL, it is not WHO we are…

So any light you can shed on this will no doubt be gobbled up by your readers.

    Much joy,
    KL

  6. @Slade: Your post was one of the most well known and best contributions to the meme, and thank you for that. I wouldn’t have met a good friend like you if it wasn’t for the Blog Apoc.

@Robin: Yes I remember your post, a funny one as well and I loved the little graphic that came a long with it. Thanks for that mate!

@KL: Hehe, I didn’t mean to put down typical self help, Ijust meant that most of the stuff is not as involved or deep. I foresee this one being more of a book than a series, but it has been fantastic in my own life. Blog Apocalypse also started our friendship as well, KL, so that’s one of the reasons I’m glad I started it!

  7. I’d like to see the topic of how to go about mentally digesting the things we want don’t want to face =)

  8. Sounds good modern worker, in fact I’ve started to cover that in the previous post (non-resistance), but I’m thinking of expanding that.

  9. Hey Albert,

Well done with the meme… and finding a creative way to do good at the same time.

I would always be interested to read about childhood experiences and their affects as I have 2 little one’s of my own.

    Cheers,
    Anmol
    :-)

  10. Hey Anmol, how you doing? :D

I’ll do my best with childhood experiences!

  11. Big up to the Monk!

Congratulations on the donation but most of all for originating one of the best meme’s that I’ve seen and was proud to take part in.

I called over to see how my good mate was doing and realised I hadn’t re-subscribed when my email crashed - Man! Have I got some reading to do to catch up….

……but I’ll LOVE every minute of it :-)

    Take care, much Love,

    Damian

  12. Hey Damian! Good to hear from you again, and thanks for your kind comments. This meme was fantastic, and I made many friends (like you guys) through it. That’s honestly the best part of it.
